Finding Syllabuses

Use this Guide to help you find the syllabus and support materials relevant to your discipline area.

Queensland syllabuses and support materials may be found in two locations:

Queensland Studies Authority website

CQU Library print resources in the Library's Curriculum Materials (CM) Collection

 

QUEENSLAND STUDIES AUTHORITY:

The Queensland Studies Authority (QSA) has replaced both the Queensland School Curriculum Council (QSCC) and the Queensland Board of Senior Studies (QBSSSS).

Years 1-10

The syllabuses for Years 1-10 are being reviewed.  Click the Years 1-10 link on the QSA website to electronically access current syllabuses.

Syllabuses may be either downloaded and/or purchased from the QSA - details are available from  the website.

Syllabus support materials are also available on the QSA website.

Years 11-12

The syllabuses for Years 11-12 are being reviewed.  Click the Years 11-12 link on the QSA website to electronically access current syllabuses.

Syllabuses may be either downloaded and/or purchased from the QSA - details are available from  the website.

Note:  While syllabuses do not exist for Early Years and Preschool, the QSA website does provide Early Years Curriculum Guidelines.

 

CQU LIBRARY PRINT RESOURCES:

All the syllabus documents in the CM Collection are shelved at call number 372 with the numbers after the decimal point indicating the subject area,  for example, 372.7 refers to Mathematics resources, while 372.83 refers to Study of Society resources.

Years 1 to 10 / Years 11 & 12

Given that the syllabuses are being reviewed, print copies of all the current syllabuses have not been purchased for the Library's CM Collection.  However,  some print Queensland syllabuses and support material for Years 1-10 are held in the CM Collection at the Rockhampton and CQU regional campus libraries.
