Library Guides
@CQU Library
CQU Library does not actively collect psychology tests - this includes scales, measures, inventories and surveys.
Some tests may be held in the collection, but only if they have been published in a book or a journal which has been acquired for another purpose.
If you are looking for information about psychological testing, you may like to try the resources located at the following call numbers: 150.287 and 153.93
Published tests
These are psychological tests which are available from commercial publishers
for a fee. These tests are usually listed in a psychological test directory.
Unpublished tests
These tests are not available from commercial
publishers. Some may be freely available on the Internet; others may have been
included as an appendix to a scholarly article reporting on a particular
study.
Test directories provide details about published psychological tests. They usually include background information about tests (i.e. purpose, creator, structure) as well as information concerning their publication (i.e. publisher, date of publication, cost, availability for purchase.) Some will even include evaluations of the test.
