What library resources can I access at home via the Internet?
There are many resources available on the Library website that can be accessed
online from your home computer. They include:
- SearchSMART - this is
an access point from which all library resources can be reached. This
includes the CQU Library Catalogue, databases, e-journals and newspapers.
- CQU Library Catalogue - search the catalogue to find books, videos,
conference proceedings, journal titles, maps, kits, and other items across
all campuses. It is also possible to check your patron details to see how
many books you have out on loan and when they are due back.
- Databases - search the journal databases to find journal articles for
your academic assignments.
- Library Guides - there are guides to
help you find information in your particular discipline, as well as general
guides on finding specific types of resources.
- Compass: Library Help Online - this online tutorial can
help you learn how to research your assignment questions.
- Ask Your Librarian - you can request
assistance from a librarian online by email.
