e-Books are purchased by CQU library to support courses offered by the University and access to these titles is available by
There are also a number of freely available e-Book sites on the web. Some of these are listed as well for your information.
PLEASE NOTE: e-Books purchased by CQU Library can be accessed by CQU staff and students only. Refer to the Passwords page if you are experiencing problems accessing e-Books.
e-Books are accessible online 24 hours a day (subject to scheduled web-site maintenance downtime by publishers)
Some e-Book titles purchased by CQU Library are available through the library catalogue.
You can search the Library Catalogue for a specific title, and if it is available as an e-Book, then a View Online Here tab will appear at the top of the record.

If you want to know what electronic books are available in your subject area eg. business follow these steps:
1. From the Library Catalogue, under Search by Collection,
click on Books.
2. Type electronic resource in the first search box and select Title from the drop down menu.

3. Type in your subject in the second (and third, if required) search box and click on
Search.

Congratulations. You should now have a list of e-Book titles specific to your subject area.
