What is aCQUIRe?

aCQUIRe is a digital repository designed to provide free access to CQU's research output.

Repository records are freely available via the Internet. Where permitted, links to the full-text of the publication or to other forms of research output are also available.

What are the benefits for authors?

Research has demonstrated that open access online articles have appreciably higher citation rates than traditionally published articles (Open Citation project, 2005, The effect of open access and downloads ('hits') on citation impact: a bibliography of studies, viewed 20th Feburary 2006. http://opcit.eprints.org/oacitation-biblio.html )
