How do I obtain and install EndNote?

Central Queensland campuses which have a site licence for EndNote include, Rockhampton, Gladstone, Bundaberg, Mackay, Gladstone and Noosa.

Please read the terms of the licence agreement before requesting any software.

Obtaining a copy of EndNote:

To borrow an EndNote X.0.2 CD for installation, Staff or Students from the above listed campuses, will need to contact the Client Service Centre in the Information Technology Division on 9233, email helpdesk@cqu.edu.au or send a blank writable compact disc with your student / staff identification details to:

To install EndNote:

The version of EndNote to install is dependant on your computer hardware and software.

EndNote X.0.2 is the latest version for Windows and Macintosh users. 

If you have already installed EndNote X, please back up your libraries and .DATA directories and download the X.0.2 patch from the EndNote Support pages to upgrade your software.

Installation:

If you have a previous version of EndNote installed on your computers please back up your libraries and .DATA directories before uninstalling the previous version.

WINDOWS - Staff can install from Control Panel - Add/Remove programs - Add New Programs

MACTINTOSH - Staff can install \\ametrine - Mac Applications - Endnote

Please note: You need to reinstall EndNote whenever Microsoft Word is updated.
