Document Delivery and Interlibrary Loans
(If the item is NOT in the CQ Library collection)
If the required item is NOT held at any of the CQ Library collections students have the following options:
- Contact your Liaison Librarian
In many cases your
Liaison Librarian can assist you to access suitable alternative
resources on your topic. In the event that there are no other resources
available, it is possible that your Liaison Librarian may be able to
request a document delivery loan at no cost to you.
- Faculty Funds
Some honours and postgraduate coursework students have access to special
funding to assist with document delivery of items not held in the CQU Library
Collection. Ask your supervisor for more information. Supplying library charge
plus $5.00 (professing fee).
- Public Library
Some items may be available through your public library.
- Family and Friends
Do you have any family or friends who live in a capital city who have access
to the holding library? Or can you combine a visit to the holding library with
a scheduled visit to the city?
- Copies Direct (photocopies only)
This is a user pays service offered by the National Library of Australia. The
cost of copies is $A13.20 (GST incl.) for every 50 pages or part thereof from
a single item (when held at the National Library of Australia). Delivery time

- Interlibrary loans and Document Delivery through CQU Library
You can order and pay for the delivery of material through the document
delivery service here in the library. Supplying library charge + $15.00
(processing fee).
Before requesting any document delivery you are required by law to complete the copyright declaration form.
