Community Borrowers

Any person who is 18 years of age or more can apply for membership of CQU library provided they can borrow in person.  The joining fee is $55 per six months i.e. January to June or July to December.    For those joining later in the term, a sliding scale applies.

Applicants must show proof of identification in order to be issued with a library card and must sign a statement agreeing to abide by library regulations.

Upon presentation of a current ID card each borrower in good standing with the library borrow the following:

Community borrowers are also entitled to unlimited renewals provided a request has not been placed by another borrower.

Electronic Access

Licensing agreements stipulate that only CQU Students and Staff may use the electronic journal databases. 

Internet access via CQU is prohibited under the Telecommunications Act 1997 by persons other than CQU Students and Staff.
