Borrowing Entitlements

If you are CQUniversity student, reside in Australia and live more than 50 kilometres from a CQUniversity campus library you are entitled to a postal loan service.   CQUniversity Library will pay postal charges to send material but it is the responsibility of the borrower to pay return costs.

An extra week is allowed for postage. 

Undergraduates

• unlimited loans for 2 weeks (exception to short term loan period)*
• photocopies of articles or pages from books can be arranged
• unlimited renewals, provided a request has not been placed by another borrower.

Postgraduates

Honours, Graduate Diploma, Masters and PhD Students

• unlimited loans for 3 weeks (exception to short term loan period)*
• photocopies of articles or pages from books can be arranged
• 5 semester loans (with the approval of the Faculty Liaison Librarian)
• unlimited renewals, provided a request has not been placed by another borrower.

*Short term loans will be checked out for 14 days.  Penalties for late renewal or late return accrue at 200 points per day.
