Library Penalties

Late returns will incur penalty points as follows:

Loan Type	Number of Points
Reserve Collection	200 points per hour
3 & 7 day	200 points per day
Val Tapes	200 points per day
Standard	20   points per day

You are ineligible to borrow material when:

• Standard loans are five (5) days overdue
• 3 and 7 day loans are three (3) days overdue
• Reserve room loans are one (1) hour overdue
• Accrued penalty points have reached 2000

Borrowing privileges will be reinstated when:

• Items late by more than the grace period have been returned or renewed.
• A reinstatement fee ($20) has been paid if your penalty points exceed 2000.
