Reciprocal Borrowing - Non CQU Students

Registering as a Reciprocal Borrower at a CQU Library

You are welcome to become a reciprocal borrower at CQU campus libraries located in Rockhampton, Mackay, Gladstone and Bundaberg provided your home University is a partner to the University Library Australia Borrowing Scheme.   Please note that Open Universities Australia are not part of the scheme.   

There is no charge to register but evidence of  current enrolment/employment must be provided.  This can be either:

Reciprocal borrowers must be able to borrow in person as they are not eligible for a postal service.   Brisbane, Gold Coast, Sydney and Melbourne CQU International campus libraries are not equipped to provide services for reciprocal borrowers.

Note: Due to licence agreements, access to CQU databases is not available, but you can access your home library's databases if they are available on the World Wide Web.

What are my Obligations as a Reciprocal Borrower?

By requesting reciprocal borrower membership you indicate your willingness to abide by the rules and borrowing conditions of CQU Library.

Reciprocal borrowing is a privilege, not a right.
