Gladstone Campus Library
@CQU Library
The Cyril Golding Library forms part of the CQU Gladstone Campus.
Situated on the marina, the campus offers undergraduate courses across all Faculties.
CQU Gladstone is also home to the Gladstone Engineering Centre, the Centre for Environmental Management and the Process Engineering and Light Metals Centre.
| Architectural features | The Library building was designed by
John Bright & Associates of Gladstone. The unique wave shape of the Library's roofline locates the building well within the nautical theme of the surrounding Gladstone Marina. Designed to take advantage of the landscaped gardens and scenic views of the nearby creek, one side of the Library consists of floor to ceiling windows. The interior is completely open plan with a brushed aluminium arching ceiling. A strong interior colour scheme compliments the natural lighting and garden views from the reading area windows. |
