ALEXANDER (Sandy): 1828 - 1890, 10th child of William Senr. & Julia (nee Walker) Archer. Married Mary (Minnie) MacKenzie (1848 - 1890) in 1871. Both perished in the "Quetta" shipwreck 28 Feb 1890.

GRACE:1832 - 1911, nee Morison, wife of Thomas Archer (1832 - 1905). Married in 1853 in Scotland. First of the Archer women at "Gracemere". She gave her name to the lake "Gracemere" which was first called "Farris".

Father of Catherine (1811 - 1865), Charles (1813 - 1861), John (1814 - 1857), David (1816 - 1900), William (1818 - 1896), Archibald (1820 - 1902), Thomas (1823 - 1905), Julia (1824 - 1906), Mary (1826 - 1908), Alexander (1828 - 1890), Jane Ann (1831 - 1912), Colin (1932 - 1921), James ( 1836 - 1919). Relocated family to Norway in 1825. Family home "Tolderodden", Norway.

WILLIAM (Willie): 1818 - 1896, 5th child of William Senr. & Julia (nee Walker) Archer. Arrived in Australia in 1837. Explored Gracemere with his brother Charles in 1853 & led the overland group to Gracemere in 1855.

WILLIAM (Willie Minor): son of John (Jack: 1814 - 1857) & g/son of William Senr & Julia (nee Walker) Archer. Married Margaret (Maggie), the daughter of Tom & Grace (nee Morison) Archer.

WILLIAM David (Dadie): son of David (Davie) & Susan (nee Stubbs) Archer & g/son of William Senr. & Julia (nee Walker) Archer. Brother of Susan Elizabeth (Toonie) & Julia (Sissie).
